Selon le site « Casa.it », Johnny Depp vend sa maison à Venise, au bord du Grand Canal, pour 10,8 millions d’euros. La propriété est un vrai palace italien. Elle est baptisée « Palazzo Dona Sangiantoffetti ». Elle s’étend sur 680 m2. La maison en question date du XVIe siècle.
Johnny Depp est tombé sous le charme de cette bâtisse en 2011, lors du tournage de « The tourist ». Bien qu’un prince arabe ait tenté de l’obtenir, au final, c’est Johnny Depp qui en est devenu le propriétaire. Après l’avoir acheté, il l’a rénové.
