Kamala Harris & Doug Emhoff – Together Since 2014
Kamala Harris was the Attorney General of California when she was set up on a blind date with entertainment lawyer Doug Emhoff. The connection was instant, leading to their engagement in March 2014 and a wedding that August.
Kamala then embraced her role as mom to Doug’s two children from his previous marriage, Cole and Ella. Romance aside, Kamala’s and Doug’s careers have seen a massive shift since their love story began. She became the 49th Vice President of the United States while he became the nation’s first Second Gentleman. Doug returned to private practice in 2025, joining the law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP as a partner.
