Paper balls aren’t supposed to hurt—unless you’re Charissa Thompson on SportsNation in 2014. She was filming behind the scenes when a perfectly aimed toss hit her square in the eye, catching her completely off guard. The footage showed her dramatic and shocked reaction, and her co-workers couldn’t stop cracking up.
Charissa, ever the good sport, shared the clip herself to show she can take a hit as well as she dishes out the laughs. The accidental bullseye became a fan-favorite blooper during her time at SportsNation, reminding everyone that even in sports reporting, sometimes you’re the one who gets nailed by the game.
