Hanna Banaszak jest bez dwóch zdań artystką wszechstronną i niezwykle utalentowaną. Znana jest dla publiczności przede wszystkim jako wokalista. Dzięki niej możemy słuchać takich utworów jak „Samba przed rozstaniem” czy Żegnaj Kotku”. Może poszczycić się współpracą z Jonaszem Koftą, Jeremim Przyborą i Wojciechem Młynarskim. Hanna Banaszak ma też inne talenty – komponuje,fotografuje, a także pisze wiersze.
W swoim życiu ta wokalistka jazzowa stawiła czoła wielu trudnościom, również na tle seksualnym. Podczas festiwalu w Jarocinie 17-letniej Banaszak ledwo udało się uniknąć gwałtu. Poza tym została samotną matką. Było to dla niej bardzo trudne wyzwanie. Na szczęście jej fani wciąż mogą jej słuchać na scenie, również w utworach z najnowszego albumu „Stoję na ziemi”.
