Richard Dean Anderson to amerykański aktor, który słynie głównie z roli Angusa MacGyvera z serialu i filmu „MacGyver”. Tak jak i grana przez niego postać, on w swoim życiu prywatnym nie raz pokazywał, że niemożliwe dla niego nie istnieje. Sceny kaskaderskie zawsze odgrywał sam. A oprócz tego przejechał na rowerze 5461 mil z Minnesoty przez Kanadę i Alaskę!
Całe życie pragnął założyć rodzinę, jednak niestety nigdy mu się to nie udało. Na szczęście z jego związku z Apryl Prose doczekał się córki. Obecnie aktor już nie występuje publicznie. Nie zobaczymy go na ekranie, ani małym, ani dużym. Richard całkiem wycofał się z życia scenicznego.
