Mike Farrell and Shelley Fabares – Together Since 1984
Audiences remember Captain B.J. Hunnicutt on “MAS*H” and Christine Armstrong on “Coach,” but off-screen, Mike Farrell and Shelley Fabares built a partnership that has lasted decades. They married in 1984 after meeting through mutual friends, fusing their lives with his two children from his first marriage. During his wife’s medical procedure in 2000, he provided personal care.
Mike also became a public advocate for organ donation. Shelley, meanwhile, has worked with organizations like the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of her mother’s battle with the disease. The couple’s activism has been a hallmark of their relationship, with both using their platforms to support causes that impacted their lives.
