An Unexpected Swim
Nothing like an accidental pool dive to shake up an interview! Mike Bushell was chatting with the English swimmers after their big win in 2018 when he misjudged his footing and tumbled right into the pool. The swimmers burst into laughter as Mike scrambled to readjust, drenched from head to toe.
Always the professional, he tried to carry on as if nothing happened, but the soaked microphone and sound pack had other plans. The interview had to end early, leaving everyone in stitches. The swimmers probably didn’t expect a second splashy victory that day, but Mike sure made a memorable splash of his own!
