Luck Takes a Funny Turn
Holly Pietrak had an unforgettable on-air slip in 2015 while reading a story about teens finding summer jobs. Instead of saying “…more teens are having luck,” she accidentally swapped “luck” for the F word, leaving the newsroom stunned and viewers laughing out loud. Holly quickly corrected herself, but the damage—or comedy gold—was already done.
Her shocked expression and brief pause only made the moment more hilarious. Social media had a field day, dubbing it the ultimate live TV blooper. Holly’s accidental word swap ruffled a couple of feathers, though. After all, even small mistakes can leave a big impression on live TV.
