Shaving is not a new concept, and it wasn’t until 3000 B.C. that razors were invented. Different people and times have their reasons for shaving. For example, in order to avoid being grabbed by the enemy, Alexander the Great encouraged the Macedonian soldiers to shave their beards prior to battle.
